This Saturday, April 28, the public is encouraged to safely dispose of prescription and over-the-counter medications at over 50 locations in DC and Virginia and Maryland suburbs, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Residents can bring any quantity and type of unused medication to drop-off points and safely dispose of them in minutes. If you bike, drive, or walk through Georgetown, we’ve got changes starting this week around the Potomac River Tunnel construction on Water Street NW. The Capital Crescent Trail has a new temporary detour through Georgetown Waterfront Park, open now for cyclists between 33rd and Potomac streets NW.
