DC Water has hundreds of contracts in place for construction, engineering, and goods and services. DC Water Construction, architecture, and engineering contracts range from several thousand to several hundred million dollars for projects related to the infrastructure repairs, modernization of facilities and processes for treating and transporting biosolids and limiting sewer overflows as well as for projects involving sewage, stormwater, water storage and water distribution systems.
DC Water has contracts and purchase orders for goods and services worth over two hundred million dollars. These contracts range from various water and wastewater treatment chemicals, plant equipment and maintenance parts, industrial supplies and equipment, various types of pipes, all types of professional services (management, IT, legal, financial, etc.), media, fleet vehicles and parts, marine equipment, catering, facility services, IT hardware and software, telecommunication services, office supplies, security service, uniforms, and utility services.
