Your Title agent has direct access to us through our 3rd Party Portal (3PP) application. Make sure your Title agent has obtained your Ownership Change Request (OCR#) from 3PP. Your first or final bill will arrive within 30 days.

Renting or Leasing? No problem!

Tenants share the existing account for the property owner. To receive a copy of the bill in your name, the owner or authorized representative (i.e. management company) can call, email, or fax your information! See contact information and details below!

When contacting us please provide:

  • A daytime phone number for the tenant, including the area code
  • The service address where the tenant should be added
  • The DC Water account number associated with the service address

If you bike, drive, or walk through Georgetown, we’ve got changes starting this week around the Potomac River Tunnel construction on Water Street NW. The Capital Crescent Trail has a new temporary detour through Georgetown Waterfront Park, open now for cyclists between 33rd and Potomac streets NW.
