WASA to host Combined Sewer Overflow meeting East of the Anacostia

December 10, 2007

Join the District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority (WASA) at a public meeting to learn what we are doing to help reduce pollution in the District’s rivers and what you can do to help.

Monday, January 14, 2008
7:00 - 8:00pm
Anacostia UPO
1649 Good Hope Road, SE

Over the next 20 years, WASA and you, our customers, will be spending more than $2 billion dollars to reduce 96 percent of the combined sewer overflows in our waterways. This is an extensive and expensive program that will improve the quality of our rivers.

Please plan to attend the meeting and take advantage of this opportunity to learn about water pollution control efforts, share your views, and find out what you can do to help.

For more information, call the Office of Public Affairs @ 202-787-2200.
