DCWASA LAUNCHES NEW WEB SITE

March 04, 2002

(Washington, DC) Today the District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority (DCWASA) launched a completely redesigned web site - www.dcwasa.com. The new design is the result of extensive research of best-in-class web sites, DCWASA's requirements and, most importantly - the needs of our customers. DCWASA credits the over 500 customer responses received through an on-line survey with helping us to focus the redesign on customer needs.

The primary goal of the redesign effort was to offer customers, students, teachers, industry-related organizations and employees an attractive, user-friendly and feature-rich web site. On the new dcwasa.com, the user can quickly and easily access information regarding DCWASA's services, business opportunities, water quality, job opportunities, finances, capital improvement program, facilities and interact with key DCWASA departments. Customers can pay their bills on line, vendors can view solicitations and download bid documents, prospective employees can apply for a job and local residents can find out about water main breaks, the new metering program, report a problem and receive general alerts.
