DC Water extends public comment period for proposed System Availability Fee

DC Water is extending the public comment period for the proposed System Availability Fee (SAF) on new construction and renovation projects in the District of Columbia. The proposed rules were published in the District of Columbia Register (DCR) on January 22, 2016 (63 DCR 000918). The original thirty (30) day public comment period, scheduled to end on February 22, 2016, is being extended to March 11, 2016. All comments received by Friday, March 11, 2016 will be considered. More information on the proposed fee can be found on DC Water's website at https://www.dcwater.com/permits.

Comments on these proposed rules should be submitted, in writing, no later than March 11, 2016 to, Linda R. Manley, Secretary to the Board, District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority, 5000 Overlook Ave., S.W., Washington, D.C. 20032, or by email to Lmanley@dcwater.com. A copy of the proposed rulemaking is available at the URL below. Copies of these proposed rules may also be obtained from DC Water at the same mailing address.
