DC Water is extending the public comment period for the proposed System Availability Fee (SAF) on new construction and renovation projects in the District of Columbia. The proposed rules were published in the District of Columbia Register (DCR) on January 22, 2016 (63 DCR 000918). The original thirty (30) day public comment period, scheduled to end on February 22, 2016, is being extended to March 11, 2016. All comments received by Friday, March 11, 2016 will be considered. Comments on these proposed rules should be submitted, in writing, no later than March 11, 2016 to, Linda R.
