To request a water bill adjustment, you’ll need a plumber’s report. It must be from a DC-licensed plumber and include their license number, a description of the repairs, and the name, address, and date of service. You may qualify for up to 50% off excess water charges. 

To proceed with your adjustment request, please provide a copy of the plumber’s report. You may be eligible for an adjustment of up to 50% of the excess water usage. The report must meet the following criteria: 

• Must be from a DC-registered plumber, including their license number
• Include a detailed description of the repairs made
• Clearly state the name, service address, and the date the repairs were completed 

Once received, we will review the report to determine if an adjustment is warranted.
