About The Advisory Council

The Business Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Council was formed in March 2021 to provide guidance and recommendations to DC Water on matters concerning procurement and business diversity policies and procedures.

Purpose 
Members of the Advisory Council will:

  • Provide independent advice and a diversity of viewpoints to DC Water Management concerning the Business Development Plan. 
  •  Offer best practices concerning DC Water’s procurement processes.
  •  Propose to the Authority ways to continue effective and efficient long-term contractor engagement with improved outreach tools and techniques.
