WASA Hosts Four Public Meetings on River Cleanup Efforts

WASA will host four public meetings to increase community awareness about WASAs efforts to reduce pollution in the Districts rivers and how the community can help. Everyone is invited to attend. The meeting schedule is as follows:

Authority Offers Virtual and In-Person Options

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Washington Aqueduct, which supplies water to DC Water, annually performs a temporary disinfectant switch from chloramine to chlorine. This year, the switch runs from March 25 to May 6. During that time, customers may notice temporary minor changes in taste and odor.
