Ramana Kanchetty is the Director, ERP System and Controls. Mr. Kanchetty is an accomplished systems professional with a demonstrated history of successfully implementing 36 plus ERP cloud applications and related business transformations at DC Water. He is adept at managing the implementation and optimization of ERP solutions, streamlining financials, procurement, payroll and human resource processes, and enhancing operational efficiency. He has led numerous cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and synergy among departments to maximize the benefits of Oracle Cloud ERP.

Mr. Kanchetty directs employees and outside consultants for the planning, implementation, and maintenance of the ERP System and critical Authority functions including financials, procurement, budgeting, payroll, reporting, recruitment and employee benefits. He is responsible for the operations and maintenance of Oracle cloud ERP applications and related systems. He facilitates continuous process improvement including the introduction of upcoming / new (ex: Business Intelligence) functionality within Oracle Cloud to DC Water, including (as needed) release and deployment services, backlog management, as well as configuration, integration, and security.

Mr. Kanchetty coordinates, across DC Water, all decisions regarding governance across clusters related to Oracle ERP Cloud and related systems. He directs evaluation and implementation of changes to current and future ERP System requirements to meet organizational needs by identifying, designing, implementing, and coordinating new system modules and processing tools. He is responsible for the identification and evaluation of opportunities to introduce software alongside and with Oracle Cloud to “mimic” manual actions and achieve better results at scale (e.g., virtual agents / conversational AI, robotic process automation). 

Mr. Kanchetty joined the Authority in 2019 as a consultant Sr. Project Manager/Program Manager for the Project Zeus (ERP) Implementation and Business Transformation effort. He has extensive management and hands-on experience in ERP project implementations, upgrades, custom applications, and support projects across various industries in the United States. He has over twenty-four years of experience in commercial and government consulting services with a long career in one of the big-five consulting firms  - Capgemini Ernst & Young. He has delivered multi-million dollars projects by working in domestic and international service lines in various management roles.
