Smithsonian Garden Fest: Water, Water, Everywhere
Enid A. Haupt Garden behind Smithsonian Castle, Friday, May 9, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
This free event features live music, guest speakers, fun activities and educational demonstrations for all ages. A “water bar” will offer free water, and utilities will give away reusable bottles to promote TapIt Metro D.C.

Given recent media attention on events like the West Virginia chemical spill, drinking water issues are top of mind. During these public events, utilities will celebrate the vital role that water plays in our lives and raise awareness about the need for infrastructure investment and water supply protection.
