Laetitia Mulamula

Laetitia is a program manager with 19 years of experience in program and project management; planning; design; and construction of civil engineering projects mainly in water and wastewater infrastructure including treatment and conveyance systems. She has overseen a $12.1B smart city development program that includes master planning, design and implementation of water, wastewater, energy, and transportation infrastructure.  Laetitia previously spent more than seven years working with DC Water through Wastewater Treatment Program Manager (WTPM) contracts. In her present role with AECOM, she will be the program manager for DC Water’s WTPM II. This program consists of a $1B 10-year capital improvement plan for the Blue Plains AWTP. She brings valuable experience managing multicultural and virtual teams on infrastructure and urban development projects and a practical, collaborative, and stakeholder-focused perspective to program management.

She holds a Master of Science in chemical engineering degree from Howard University’s School of Engineering and is a licensed professional engineer.

DC Water Announces Early Completion of Canal Road Slope Stabilization Project

Major Milestone Paves Way for Potomac River Tunnel Construction at the Site

DC Water has completed its slope stabilization project along Canal Road, a critical step in order to move forward with construction for the Potomac River Tunnel Project. Originally scheduled to end in February, the project finished about two months ahead of schedule, minimizing additional impacts to commuters and residents.
