Adriana Hochberg

Alternate Board Member

Adriana Hochberg serves as Assistant Chief Administrative Officer in Montgomery County.  She coordinates strategic planning and implementation of the County Executive’s priority outcomes for environment and transportation and leads Montgomery County’s efforts to address climate change. She previously spent eleven years with the Government of the District of Columbia, serving in the Office of the City Administrator and as Chief of Staff in the Department of Energy and Environment. Ms. Hochberg has also served as Presidential Management Fellow at the US Environmental Protection Agency and as Coordinator for International Relations at the Konan Town Hall in Japan.

Ms. Hochberg is passionate about creating sustainable, equitable, and walkable communities.  She is a graduate of the Walking College Fellowship from America Walks and developed and implemented an action plan to make her community safer for pedestrians. Ms. Hochberg earned a master’s in Public Policy from Harvard University and a bachelor’s from Williams College.

DC CLEAN RIVERS – POTOMAC RIVER TUNNEL PROJECT
If you bike, drive, or walk through Georgetown, we’ve got changes starting this week around the Potomac River Tunnel construction on Water Street NW. The Capital Crescent Trail has a new temporary detour through Georgetown Waterfront Park, open now for cyclists between 33rd and Potomac streets NW.
