DC Flood Task Force Wants to Hear from Residents
The Flood Task Force for the District of Columbia is inviting residents and businesses to participate in two upcoming Virtual Public Listening Sessions.
The DC Flood Task Force was established by the Office of the City Administrator in September 2021 to identify policies and projects to bolster flood readiness while equitably protecting the District’s residents and economy from the damage that floods can cause.
An important aspect of the Task Force’s work is hearing directly from people who have been impacted by flooding in the District. Their stories and input will help the Task Force decide which flood risk issues to focus on as it continues its year long effort to produce a comprehensive Action Plan.
Anyone interested in attending one of the virtual meetings can register using the links below. Once you have completed the registration you will receive the meeting link.
