Assistant General Manager, Support Services

Rosalind Inge is DC Water’s Assistant General Manager, Support Services. In this role, she supervises the Support Services Division, including Fleet Maintenance, Facilities, Security, and Occupational Safety and Health departments, and an organizational development team.

Inge is a seasoned professional with proven success expediting the services of complex organizations, attaining corporate and revenue goals, and building high-performance and multidisciplinary teams.

Previously she served as Director of Procurement at DC Water, responsible for researching, developing, establishing and managing the Authority's procurement programs. Inge drafted regulations to govern the procurement process, as well as operating policy and procedures for the Authority.

Inge came to DC Water from the District Department of the Environment where she directed the operational support functions of the agency including customer service; budgeting, financial and grants management; contracting and procurement; human resources; labor relations; risk and emergency management; information technology and telecommunications; and training.

Known for wisely managing people and resources, Inge was successful in improving customer service ratings that pushed the organization from below average performance to the top 10 percent of all District government agencies. Her work also achieved a 70 percent increase in profit within four years by creating an innovative employee performance program, ensuring desirable product offerings and successfully negotiating a multimillion-dollar contract.

She a graduate of Howard University, with a Master’s degree in Urban Studies.
