Eric Euell is Director, IT Enterprise Solutions for DC Water. In this role, he provides departmental leadership, vision and direction for evaluating, testing, and implementing solutions to better meet the strategic needs of the Authority. Mr. Euell works directly with customers, colleagues and stakeholders to leverage technology that improves business processes and efficiency. He initially joined Team Blue in November 1999.

Since then, Mr. Euell has served in a variety of leadership roles, including nine years as Manager, Financial Systems, IT Enterprise Solutions. In that position, Eric oversaw management of Infor (Lawson) Financial System, comprised of multiple environments and servers, and the associated supporting systems, clients, and services. Importantly, he initiated the Authority’s AI Governance group, which provides the framework for, and oversight of, the DC Water AI-related programs.

Mr. Euell holds a bachelor’s degree in information systems from Strayer University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. Additionally, he holds numerous technical certifications, and has participated in several leadership development programs, including the CIO Executive Council’s Pathways Leadership Development program, and the National Forum of Black Public Administrators (NFBPA) protégé program.
