Risk Management

DC Water’s (the Authority) Risk Management Department develops strategies to ensure the Authority is protected by minimizing, or eliminating unacceptable risks. Risk Management manages all aspects of insurance and risk management, including but not limited to securing commercial insurance coverage, tort liability insurance claims oversight, legislation compliance and maintaining industry best practices.  This office is also responsible for the Administration, Claims Management and Safety for the Authority’s Rolling Owner Controlled Insurance Program (ROCIP) for the Authority.
