What We Do
Glover-Archbold Park Sewer Rehabilitation Project
The Glover Park and Foundry Branch Rehabilitation Project is located entirely in the District of Columbia (D.C.). Together, the two project areas comprise the Glover Archbold Park system. This Park is bounded on the north by Van Ness Street, NW; on the east by 42nd Street; on the west by 44th Street, NW; and on the south by Canal Road and the Potomac River. A trunk sewer main collecting a portion of the Northwest D.C sewershed flows south through Glover Archbold Park, consisting of manholes and pipelines constructed in the early 20th century, making the pipelines nearly 100 years old. With an estimated service life of approximately 75 to 100 years, all pipes within Glover Archbold Park have reached their maximum expected lifespan.
