DC WASA To Host Fourth Consulting Party Meeting on the St. Elizabeths Water Tower

DC WASA and Councilman Marion Barry are hosting the fouth Consulting Party Meeting to discuss the proposed St. Elizabeths Water Tower.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at Bethlehem Baptist Church, located at 2458 Martin Luther King, Jr. Ave, SE.

In addition to presenting the architectural treatment being proposed for the tower, residents can voice their questions about the impact of the tower.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Washington Aqueduct, which supplies water to DC Water, annually performs a temporary disinfectant switch from chloramine to chlorine. This year, the switch runs from March 25 to May 6. During that time, customers may notice temporary minor changes in taste and odor.
