Beginning September 1- New Locations to Pay DC WASA Bill in Person

DC WASA is changing from Wachovia Bank to TD Bank and its partner, Adams National Bank.

If you want to pay your bill at a bank, you can use Wachovia up to and including August 31, 2009. As of September 1, 2009, walk-in payments must be made at a TD Bank or Adams National Bank location.

As always, customers may pay their bills at DC WASA’s Customer Service Center located in the lobby at 810 First Street, NE.

Customer information sessions will be held at the DC WASA Customer Service Center in the lobby at 810 First Street, NE per the following schedule:

Friday, August 7 9-11 am
Friday, August 14 10-12 pm
Friday, August 21 1-3pm

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Washington Aqueduct, which supplies water to DC Water, annually performs a temporary disinfectant switch from chloramine to chlorine. This year, the switch runs from March 25 to May 6. During that time, customers may notice temporary minor changes in taste and odor.
