Wendell Felder is a Senior Program Manager for Community Engagement at Sibley Memorial Hospital and Johns Hopkins Medicine.

Mr. Felder has extensive experience developing and elevating strategic community outreach programs, campaigns, and partnerships, nurturing relationships with key external public and private stakeholders, and building organizational commitment to advancing equity through high-impact community engagement solutions. Prior to joining Sibley Hospital, Mr. Felder served in numerous leadership positions within the District government. In these roles, he aimed to improve the quality of life of District residents by implementing public policies, programs, and special initiatives.

A fourth generation Washingtonian, Mr. Felder is passionate about inspiring youth to exercise their civic duty and contribute to their community in meaningful ways. He currently serves as an Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner in Ward 7 and as Chair of the Ward 7 Democrats Organization and the Washington Literary Council's Advisory Board. Mr. Felder is a member of the National Forum for Black Public Administrators and Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.

A Ward 7 resident, Mr. Felder received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Bowie State University and a Master of Professional Studies in Urban and Regional Planning from Georgetown University.
