Linda R. Manley
Secretary to the Board of Directors
Linda R. Manley is the Secretary to the Board of Directors for the District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority (DC Water). In September 1996, Ms. Manley was appointed to serve as Interim Secretary to the Board and in January 1997, she was appointed as the Secretary to the Board. In this capacity, Ms. Manley manages the day-to-day operations of the Office of the Secretary (Board). Her duties include providing executive level assistant and managerial support for the Board of Directors.
Ms. Manley served as Water and Sewer Program Coordinator for the then Administrator of the DC Water and Sewer Utility Administration (formerly WASUA) from May 1985 until September 1996. In this role, she was responsible for the overall management and administration of the Administrator's office, serving as the FOIA officer, managing all Administration events, handling constituent concerns and the coordination of staff responses to the Mayor and Councilmember's office.
Ms. Manley received her degree in Business Management and is pursuing an ABWA-KU Management Certificate in conjunction with the University of Kansas School of Business. Ms. Manley has received numerous outstanding service awards and recognition throughout her tenure at DC Water. Ms. Manley is a member of the American Business Women Association (ABWA) and the Society of Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals.
