Director of Maintenance Services
Anthony Mack is the Director of Maintenance Service for the District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority (DC Water). Mr. Mack is responsible for all process equipment for the Blue Plains Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant (described in the "What We Do" section of this website), and the high voltage power distribution equipment and crane maintenance across the Authority. Thus, his staff maintains complex and varied equipment, from cranes to process control systems, all requiring unique expertise. His teams also provide support to Facilities Maintenance and Water and Sewer Pumping Maintenance divisions.
Mr. Mack has more than 30 years of experience in environmental maintenance, most of those in the executive ranks. Prior to joining DC Water, he served as the Senior Operations and Maintenance Specialist for United Water. There he provided technical guidance and direction for maintenance management, and regulatory compliance to water and wastewater facilities around the United States. Prior to that, Mr. Mack was the Maintenance Manager and Regional Maintenance Manager.
Mr. Mack holds a Bachelor degree in Industrial Technology from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and a Master of Business Administration from Indiana Institute of Technology. He also holds an Associates of Applied Science in Aircraft Accessory Systems Technology and Instructor of Technology and Military Science from Community College of the Air Force.
