Ward 4 Town Hall Meeting

June 30, 2020
United States

DC Water will be co-hosting its annual Ward Town Hall Meetings with District Councilmembers, with one meeting happening in each Ward in a new, virtual format utilizing the Microsoft Teams platform.

The primary purpose of the Town Halls is to share with residents important information on the proposed rates for FY 2021. Resident feedback from the meetings is shared with our Board of Directors prior to our annual Public Rates Hearing on Wednesday, August 5 at 6:30 pm.

Resident feedback during the Town Halls and Rates Hearing is very important, as their comments are heavily considered by our Board while voting on the proposed rate increase on October 1.

Residents who wish to testify at the hearing should contact Linda Manley by email or at 202-787-2332 to sign up to testify.

In addition to rates, DC Water’s management team will be available to address resident questions and concerns on other topics such as water quality, sewer services, water conservation, wastewater treatment, construction projects, infrastructure maintenance and emergency repairs, community outreach, DC Clean Rivers Project, employment opportunities, governance, customer assistance programs, finance, lead, and billing.

All Town Halls will start at 6:30 pm. If you cannot make it to the meeting for your Ward, please feel free to attend any of the other meetings, as much of the same information will be shared at all the meetings.
