Arthur Richard Green, Jr
Director, Human Capital Management
Arthur Richard (Rick) Green is the Director of Human Capital Management for the District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority (DC Water). Mr. Green's responsibilities include direct management of human resource systems including compensation, staffing, labor relations, benefits and the human resources information systems. He coaches and counsels employees at all leadership levels and writes, revises and administers Authority policies.
Before being named Acting Director of Human Capital Management in December 2010, Mr. Green served as Manager of Compensation. In this post, which he held since 2003, Mr. Green conceived, planed and managed compensation, job classification and performance management activities for more than 1,000 full-time employees.
Prior to his work at DC Water, Mr. Green served as a Compensation & Planning Manager for PG&E National Energy Group, providing various Human Resources program and labor relations support for more than 2,200 employees. He was also Manager, HR Policy & Information and Manager, Compensation at Washington Gas.
Mr. Green holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Behavioral Science from National Louis University and a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) from World at Work.
