What We Do
Bangor Street Storm Sewer Improvements
DC Water will be performing storm sewer improvements within the Anacostia neighborhood to improve drainage from storm events.
DC Water has contracted with the engineering firm of Black & Veatch Corporation to develop detailed contract drawings for the proposed storm sewer improvements in the neighborhood. Black & Veatch and their partners, Mercado Consultants, will be performing survey and utility locating work in order to complete the plans.
Surveying crews will be operating out of company vehicles identified with their company logos. The survey and inspection work is expected to have minimal disruption to residents, businesses and traffic in the area.
As plans are developed, further information will be provided.

Public Outreach
DC Water will meet with the ANC and other affected community / homeowner associations prior to finishing the project designs. Additionally, DC Water contact information is available on this website in our "Who We Are" section.
