Internal Joint Repairs project
DC Water is rehabilitating large diameter water mains throughout the city as part of its Capital Improvement Program. These pipes are critical to the overall water distribution system as they form larger transmission mains that deliver drinking water to various locations both in and around the District. These efforts will improve water quality and system reliability, increase water pressure in some areas, and maintain adequate flows throughout the system.
