The District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority (DC Water) is committed
to educating its customers and elected officials at the local, state and
national levels about the importance of funding for critical infrastructure
that provide District and suburban residents safe drinking water and clean
waterways. Funds appropriated through the President's budget under the
American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) along with the Safe Drinking
Water State Revolving Fund and the Clean Water State Revolving Fund received
by DC Water from the Environmental Protection Agency are a positive investment
providing a healthier environment in the District of Columbia and suburban
jurisdictions.
