Potomac Interceptor History
The project team has completed the Environmental Assessment related to parts of the Long-Term Odor Control Program in the National Park Service lands. In early 2002, the Environmental Assessment was reviewed by the National Park Service, and the Maryland and District of Columbia Historic Preservation Offices. The Environmental Assessment was submitted for public comment in late Spring 2002. A "Finding Of No Significant Impact" (FONSI) has been issued for the project stating that the National Park Service approves the long-term plans for the Potomac Interceptor.
