Financial Assistance for Private Side Replacements

On September 4th, 2008, the DC WASA Board of Directors modified the existing Lead Service Replacement Program. Read the full news release.

As DC Water crews replace lead service lines in public space, property owners are encouraged to replace any lead lines on their private property as well. Financial assistance is available for those who qualify in the form of grants from the District's Department of Housing and Community Development.

Both programs have income guidelines for eligibility.
