DC Water Partners with EPA's WaterSense® Program

WaterSense partner

Did you know that the average American household uses 100 gallons of water each day? Most people don't realize it, but by using water-efficient fixtures and appliances, we can reduce our water use and preserve our nation's water supply for future generations. That's sensible!

DC Water is committed to protecting and preserving our national and local water supply through water-efficient practices, products, and services. By partnering with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) WaterSense® program, DC Water will offer consumers useful water-saving techniques and encourage them to look for WaterSense® labeled products, when making product choices. These products use about 20 percent less water and perform as well as, or better than, conventional models.
