Water Conservation
Conserving water is an important way to protect the environment, while also saving energy and money. Using less water indoors and outside puts less demand on the drinking water delivery system and the wastewater treatment system. Less usage also helps lower your water bills and conserve the water supply needed in times of drought.
DC Water is committed to serving and educating the public about water conservation issues through tours of our Blue Plains Advanced Wastewater Treatment Facility, community outreach programs, and by providing useful tips for reducing water usage.
