| What does it mean? | A water bubbler is a device that is attached to a fire hydrant and acts as a drinking water fountain or bubbler. In certain cases, such as community events, DC Water allows customers to rent a water bubbler for drinking water, washing, cooking and recreational use. |
| Does this apply to me? | If you are having a community event in the District of Columbia and desire the use of a water bubbler for providing drinking water to guests, you may apply for a Water Bubbler Use Permit. |
| When do I apply? | It is advisable to apply at least one month before the permit is needed. |
