Director, Occupational Safety & Health
Ayodele McClenney is the Director of Occupational Safety and Health, where she is responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for every Team Blue member in the personal and professional aspects of our employment and our workplace.
Ms. McClenney has more than twenty years of experience in management and leadership roles including 18 years in public service. She has a strong implementation and operational background with enterprise systems, most recently in the critical Maintenance Management area of public water utilities.
Previously, she served in a management role within the Water Services division working hand-in-hand with the technology team to advance enterprise software initiatives into the growing area of geo-spatial data and predictive analytics to continuously improve upon the organization's dozens of business processes. Under the People-Process-Technology paradigm she has been particularly effective at integrating the people component into improving operational efficiencies and customer relationships from both a motivational as well as a cultural perspective.
Her career is highlighted with leadership roles in several public service associations and she holds a BSCE from Howard University; and a JD from the University of Maryland. Ms. McClenney is also certified as a Safety Trained Supervisor, by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.
