Public Outreach Manager
Aleizha Batson is the Public Outreach Manager for DC Water, where she manages a comprehensive engagement and outreach program to educate the public, and increase awareness about critical services and activities. Ms. Batson serves as a liaison between the Authority and various District agencies, community and civic organizations. She also provides strategic guidance and leadership to the outreach team, to ensure ongoing, diverse outreach activities to businesses, schools, civic and community groups, nonprofit organizations and other stakeholders.
Ms. Batson has more than 15 years of extensive experience in public relations, event planning and community engagement. Previously, she served as Community Relations Coordinator for DC Water. Prior to that, she worked with public relations and marketing agencies in Florida and Georgia and national sports organizations, such as the PGA TOUR and The First Tee.
Ms. Batson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Education in Sports Administration from Temple University.
